Humans of ME/CFS
In 1984, I had a recurring virus mixed with faringitis, which made some glands to grow. I had migraines from 1995-2005. In 1998, I had a different flu with the typical pain and muscular fatigue. In 1999, the typical muscle fatigue began, followed by chronic constipation, head fever after lunch, and muscle pain. I could only sleep for 2 1/2 hours at night. I had to read everything from 3 to 5 times to comprehend. My feet ached terribly and my shoes felt smaller.
I was diagnosed with ME/CFS in 2002. I got chronic gastritis in 2007, fibromyalgia in 2009, sleep apnea in 2012, and IBS in 2013.
In December 2014, I found out that cannabis is the only medicine to make my pain and fatigue disappear, while giving me strength and no munchies.
Most people won’t believe I’m sick because I don’t look sick. So, I disassociated myself from all of my family and most friends. Getting rid of toxic people helped alleviate my stress.
